The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is pleased to host the 5th annual gingerbread FIREhouse contest, exhibition, and charity raffle for the holidays. All entries must depict a firefighting themed architectural structure, (a firehouse, burning building, etc.) -- real or imaginary. Participants are invited to compete in one of three divisions:
• Junior Division: an entry made by an individual, family, school, scout, or other group (where most of the work was completed by individuals under the age of 18).
• Adult Division: Gingerbread entries made by adult individual or groups (where most of the work was completed by adults who are over the age of 18).
• Advanced Division: Gingerbread entry made by a professional baker or an individual/group with prior gingerbread baking experience and/or displaying an advanced skill set.
The exhibit opens, and the entries will be judged on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Over $500 in cash and prizes will be awarded.
