Directions
The City of Aurora, Illinois is located 40 miles west of Chicago, just off Interstate 88 (also known as the "East-West Tollway"). Approximate travel time by road (depending on traffic) from downtown Chicago to the museum is one hour.

The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is located at the corner of New York and Broadway (Rt. 25) in downtown Aurora.

Parking
FREE parking for Saturday's exhibition and pumping competition will be avaliable in the Metra commuter parking lot located (half a block from the muster sit) at the corner of Spring Street and Lincoln Ave. See the map, above or follow the signs posted the day of the event).

Accomodations

Although there are eight hotels in Aurora -- and more in surrounding communities -- there are several other large special events in the area and so rooms are already at a premium. We urge you to book your room now! All reservations should be handled directly with area hotels. The Comfort Inn Suites, is the closest to the museum/muster site (conveniently located across the street from the museum/muster site), yet it may already be filled!.
