Installing the new (old) "barn doors"
The hand-crafted replicas of our original 1894 apparatus bay (barn) doors
add a final touch to the front facade.

Sparks fly as a worker with EMCO Steel uses a cutting torch to remove the
old overhead garage door track. The new barn doors weigh over 350 lbs.
each, and concerns with the structural integrity of the front wall lead
to the installation of steel support frames around each opening.
